TEHRAN, May 14 (MNA) – Iran’s Hassan Rouhani has said some factions in this country have plundered the public wealth in the name of resisting the superpowers.
PresidentRouhani addressed the ceremony held to honor Social Workers’ National Day, coincident with the birth anniversary of Imam Ali today morning. “Iran’s public had sought aid from Imam Ali when in difficulties and hard times,” Rouhani told the meeting, thus paying tribute to the first Shiite Imam, who is hailed greatly by the Iranian.
“The service of a social worker should not be evaluated by its remunerations and rewards; rather, it is borne of love of man only rewarded by God Himself and no one else,” Rouhani said.
Rouani said that it was imperative that “we deprive demagogues from exploiting the opportunity to deflect us from our path to accurate decisions.”
He believed that to go in a wrong track and then to return back only brought disaster and unnecessary costs to the public. “I do not mean to disgruntle anyone, but in this country, some had plundered the public purse in the name of resistance against the superpowers; we should not allow such circles to take the nation off its course it had chosen in last June elections through deafening cries of legitimacy by these circles,” president reaffirmed.
Rouhani emphasized that his presidential tasks of fighting unemployment and inflation and creating jobs to the young people of this country were more important than to respond to all scandals and defamations waged by extreme circles.
He called all parties and the public to cooperate and ‘put hand in hand’ to ‘defeat the looming giant of recession over country’s economy. ------ ...
